UNIFORM PROCEDURES

Each morning on assembly, students out of uniform without a pass have their names recorded by their teacher. Names are placed on a database. Non compliance is reported on school reports and detentions will be given for failing to follow procedures NOT for being out of uniform.

UNIFORM PASSES

If there is a GENUINE reason for a student being out of uniform for ONE DAY a note explaining that reason should be given to a year advisor on Assembly or before 8.15 am. A pass will be issued for that day. If a longer period of time is required notes must go to MRS CHAFFER or MRS COSTA for a pass to be approved and a date set to rectify the problem. Any note should be dated and have a contact phone number.

PRACTICAL SUBJECTS

Practical subjects have strict uniform requirements. This is a safety issue and students will be excluded from practical lessons if they do not conform. The teachers of these subjects will specify other requirements which may include aprons, hair nets, and chef's cap. All students will wear fully enclosed black leather lace up school shoes, for foot safety.

SPORT / PEHPE

ALL students are required to change their clothes for PD/H/PE practical lessons.

The PD/H/PE or Sports uniform is to be worn on sports days. Students without correct PD/H/PE or Sports uniform should wear suitable clothes for practical activities and have a note from their parents giving a genuine reason for not having correct uniform.

Correct sports shoes need to be worn for safety and support during sporting activities. These may be the black shoes students wear each day or a different pair of supportive sports shoes or joggers. Slip on and fabric shoes are NOT acceptable.
