Athletics Carnival

The Annual School Athletics Carnival is a compulsory school day and all students must attend at Mingara. Teachers will not be at school to supervise any students.

Transport + cost:

Students can be transported to and from Mingara by their parents/guardians and need to arrive at the venue by 8:45am and be picked up at 1:30pm. Students will pay $5 upon entering the facility.

Students catching the bus from school must arrive at school by 8:00am for an 8:15am departure. Buses will depart Mingara at 1:45pm to return to GHS for normal buses.

Bus fare: $5.00
Gate entry: $5.00

Payment of cash is required when boarding the bus at school ($10 total).

There is a canteen at the venue and our GHS Year 12 and SRC will be operating a BBQ. 

• Students can bring their own food and drinks. 
• Students WILL NOT be permitted to leave the Mingara Athletics Centre facilities to purchase food.

Students can wear appropriate mufti clothing in their house colours or school PE/sport uniform.

Appropriate enclosed footwear is required.
