2026 Year 7 Adviser
I am privileged to be the Year 7 Adviser for the 2026 cohort. With over 10 years’ experience at Gorokan High School, my goal is to ensure that every student feels safe and valued developing a strong sense of belonging within our wonderful school community.
Transitioning into high school is both exciting and challenging for parents and students, and my role is to guide, support, and encourage you throughout this journey. Whether it’s navigating friendships, schoolwork, or simply adjusting to a new environment, I will provide guidance and practical support alongside the entire team here at Gorokan High School.
High school is a time for growth and opportunity, and I want to create an atmosphere where wellbeing and success are a priority. I look forward to seeing all that they achieve, and I am excited to walk alongside you on this journey, remember – you are not alone!

ORIENTATION DAY
for all 2026 Year 7 Students
9:15am – 1:45pm
- Parents are welcome to attend until 10am on Orientation day for information and questions leading into 2026.
- The Uniform Shop will be open from 7:30am to 11:00am. See UNIFORM SHOP below for opening hours in the holidays and ordering online.
- Book and Information Packs will be supplied to students at the end of the day.

School term hours commence from 3 February 2026.
School Opal Card
A new application is only required if the student has not had a School Opal card before. If the student already has a School Opal card and is changing schools or home address, you will need to update their Opal card for the new school year before mid-December at Transport NSW.
